During the China-South Asia Expo, bus drivers will make their debut in new uniforms.

　　Yesterday, Kunming Public Transport Group held the “2013 Work Conference on Party Building, Clean Government and Integrity, and Propaganda and Ideological Work, along with the Commendation Ceremony for Outstanding Youth League Members on May Fourth.” At the event, reporters learned that during the China-South Asia Expo, frontline bus drivers in Kunming will be seen sporting new uniforms. Miao Xianjun, Chairman of Kunming Public Transport Group, stated that the company will purchase 200 new-energy buses for the duration of the expo and will also provide uniform attire for its frontline drivers. According to relevant officials, current Kunming bus uniforms are primarily shirts; the T-shirts currently being customized feature a light-blue body with a red collar, available in both short- and long-sleeve versions. A representative from Fleet One noted that these T-shirts are expected to offer greater comfort and better sweat-wicking performance than the existing shirts.
