Workwear is a reflection of corporate culture and corporate image.

As clothing culture continues to evolve, today’s workwear is no longer merely protective attire; it has become an indispensable component of corporate culture and brand identity. An increasing number of companies now feature work uniforms that incorporate elements of their corporate ethos, turning these garments into a kind of calling card for both the organization and its employees. Workwear is a reflection of corporate culture and corporate image.

As apparel culture continues to evolve, workwear today is no longer merely protective attire; it has become an indispensable component of corporate culture and brand identity. An increasing number of companies are adopting work uniforms that incorporate elements of their corporate ethos, turning them—often without conscious effort—into a visual calling card for both the organization and its employees. Through workwear, observers can glean insights into a company’s reputation, service quality, and other key attributes, thereby strengthening emotional connections and trust between the brand and its workforce.

“Many of the details in our work uniforms reflect our bank’s corporate culture,” said Ms. Su, the lobby manager at the Agricultural Bank of China on North Ring Road in Zhengzhou. When the reporter met her, she was wearing a white short-sleeved shirt with a small round collar and a green bow tie; both the collar and cuffs were edged in dark green, and the green buttons were designed to resemble the bank’s emblem. She was paired with dark blue trousers. Ms. Su explained that green is the Agricultural Bank’s signature color, symbolizing vitality and dynamism, and conveying the bank’s image of thriving growth and vigorous development. The combination of green and white, rendered in various ways, embodies the bank’s corporate ethos of “pioneering progress and fostering harmony.” The rounded collar creates a welcoming, approachable impression, aligning with the value of “serving customers wholeheartedly.” The green bow tie adds a touch of elegance and sophistication, highlighting the wisdom and grace of the bank’s female employees. Meanwhile, the deep blue of the trousers conveys steadiness and poise, reflecting the bank’s commitment to sound operations and disciplined management—values that resonate with its corporate credo of “building trust through integrity and advancing steadily into the future.”

“First‑rate companies cultivate culture; culture unites people. For any enterprise to grow strong and expand, it must be underpinned by a lasting cultural foundation—and workwear is one tangible manifestation of that cultural development. Today, work uniforms have become a vehicle for corporate culture: when employees don the attire, they not only project the company’s image but also convey the rich cultural heritage our organization has nurtured over many years,” said Director Zhang of Haoxiangni Jujube Co., Ltd. Their workwear bears a highly visible “Haoxiangni” logo, which directly captures public attention and vividly underscores their confidence in building the “Haoxiangni” brand with dedication. A fiery red heart-shaped emblem perfectly embodies their commitment to “delivering projects with integrity and operating as an ethical industry,” as well as their corporate ethos of “sincerity, gratitude, and unwavering loyalty to consumers.”

During field visits, reporters observed that at various work sites, conference venues, and public events, companies and organizations alike present themselves to the public in uniform work attire that incorporates their own cultural elements, thereby capturing and shaping public attention.
